Reneé P. Wynn, Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator, Office of Environmental Information
Reneé P. Wynn is currently serving as the Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Environmental Information. Having been with EPA for more than 21 years, Ms. Wynn offers a wealth of experience including 15 years working with the Superfund program.
Most recently Ms. Wynn served as the Director for the Office of Program Management in EPA’s Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response. Since 2006, she was responsible for OSWER wide program administration in the following areas: long term strategic planning and analyses across OSWER programs; science; information management; international; specialized task forces; regulatory management; budget formulation and execution; contracts and assistance agreement management; and administrative policy. Ms. Wynn also served as the Senior Official for the OSWER programs that received American Recovery and Reinvestment Act resources and as OSWER’s Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator in 2009.
Additionally, Ms. Wynn has provided expertise and managerial leadership as Deputy Office Director in EPA’s Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office, and as Acting Deputy Director in OEI’s Office of Information Collection. She has also served in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance.
Ms. Wynn is a graduate of EPA’s SES Candidate Development Program and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from DePauw University, Indiana.
