Transparency
EPA is fully committed to communicate all research procedures, statuses, and findings to the public, along with discussing underlying assumptions and any uncertainties associated with final conclusions on the study. EPA has supported full transparency in several different ways, all of which provide the public with all available information.
Several ways that EPA has conducted the study in a transparent fashion are:
- Consulting with the public and key stakeholder groups during the study development.
- Posting of study draft and final materials at every stage of the study development.
- Holding public information sessions during both the development and completion of the study. Get a status update (PDF) .
- Posting all quality assurance project plans online, allowing replication and verification of EPA's research approach and methods. Read the quality assurance project plans.
