Urban Waters Small Grants Questions

2013/2014 Grants Competition – Questions & Answers

Written responses to emailed questions are available in the questions & answers documentQuestions and Answers Document updated on December 12, 2013.

Questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail and must be received by the EPA Agency Contact at email address urbanwaters@epa.gov by December 9, 2013.

The questions & answers document will be updated with new written responses on the following dates:

  • Friday, Nov 1;
  • Friday, Nov 15;
  • Wednesday, Nov 27; and
  • Thursday, Dec 12.

Please note: The schedule for posting written responses to questions has been revised to reflect the new proposal submission deadline (extended to December 16, 2013).

Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the questions & answers document prior to submitting a question.

Please note: In accordance with EPA's Assistance Agreement Competition Policy (EPA Order 5700.5A1), EPA staff will not meet with individual applicants to discuss draft proposals, provide informal comments on draft proposals, or provide advice to applicants on how to respond to ranking criteria. Applicants are responsible for the contents of their proposals.

However, consistent with the provisions in the announcement, EPA will respond to questions from individual applicants regarding threshold eligibility criteria, administrative issues related to the submission of the proposal, and requests for clarification about the announcement.

For Standard Forms 424 and 424A questions, please complete them as best you can; we will contact you during the application review period if further clarification is needed.
