Web Area Details
These items determine the name of the website, the URL, and the breadcrumbs (for microsites). Please pay close attention to this section. If the names you select are not appropriate, this form will be rejected and you will need to resubmit your request.
The URL for your site will be generated from the short name with all lower case letters and hyphens between words. The unmodified short name is used in breadcrumbs (for microsites) or hublinks (for resource directories), as well as in the Web area footer. Example: Short Name = New Bedford Harbor The URL would be "http://www2.epa.gov/new-bedford-harbor/." The breadcrumb would read "New Bedford Harbor". The Web area footer would read "Contact the New Bedford Harbor Web editor to ask a question, provide feedback, or report a problem."
Use this field to specify a URL other than what is generated by Drupal from the Short Name. For example, use "nbh" if you want the URL to be www2.epa.gov/nbh/ instead of www2.epa.gov/new-bedford-harbor/.
